"WPA has been with Wildridings for over a year now.  Before our EWO started attendance was flagged by Ofsted as an area for concern at Wildridings Primary School. Our EWO’S knowledge and support has helped us turn this around.  We wouldn’t be where we are without this support.  Our EWO works brilliantly with my attendance officer and is always looking for new ways to improve.  She meets parents both in school and at their homes.  She never shies away from a difficult conversation but does so in a very positive manner.  Our EWO has helped implement rewards at school such as certification assemblies; attendance mascots and displays.  She has raised the profile of attendance across the school, and it is evident around the building and amongst parents that attendance is important.  I would like to personally thank our EWO and WPA for all of their support – they really have made a difference."
